CMHA Thunder Bay is dedicated to morally and financially responsible fundraising practices. Our organization respects the rights of our donors and adheres to the guidelines of the Ethical and Financial Accountability Code developed by the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy.

The Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code (ethical code) is a set of standards and benchmarks that enables organizations to manage their funds responsibly and report their financial affairs accurately and completely. It was created in response to growing public concern about accountability in the sector and remains the best way for a charity to assess its transparency and accountability.
