CMHA Thunder Bay Spreads Kindness in Support of Pink Shirt Day

Join CMHA Thunder Bay staff and members on February 23, to spread kindness and wear pink. Individuals and organizations across the country will come together to celebrate Pink Shirt Day, an annual anti-bullying campaign.

Bullying is a form of aggression where there is a power imbalance; the person doing the bullying has power over the person being victimized. In additional to any physical trauma incurred, bullying can result in mental health issues, including anxiety, low self-esteem, or depression.

Bullying is a major problem in our schools, workplaces, homes, and online. Pink Shirt Day aims to raise awareness of these issues, as well as raise funds to support programs that foster children’s healthy self-esteem.

For more information on anti-bullying resources, visit pinkshirtday.ca.

Purchase your pink shirt or pink toque by February 4th online at https://cmhapink-2022.itemorder.com

Shirts are available in adult sizes and youth sizes ($19). Toques are $15.

All proceeds from Pink Shirt Day sales, provides #mentalhealthforall in our community.

Thank you to Sportop Marketing for being a supplier and huge supporter of this campaign.
