Court Rent Supplement

Court Rent Supplement program provides financial rent supplements for clients to access safe and affordable housing in the community. Clients have access to a case manager that is able to assist with connecting to resources and offers a liaison between the client and the landlord.

The Court Rent Supplement service works in partnership with Court Diversion Case Management to assist individuals involved in the court diversion program to have access to affordable market rent housing by offering a rent supplement. Through the use of the Ontario Common Assessment of Need (OCAN) individuals will identify personal goals which their worker will help them achieve. Wellness planning, coping strategies, advocacy and referrals to community resources are included in the range of support provided

Eligibility

Persons 18 & over with a mental health issue or concern, receiving court support and/or on a Mental Health Diversion plan

Referral Sources

All referrals to Court Rent Supplement are received internally through our Court Diversion Program staff.
